WordPress Plugin: Contact Forms 7 Addon – Campaign Monitor
Earlier this week I tweeted about a plugin that was developed by my good friend, Joshua Bettigole. I have worked along side Joshua Bettigole as a web designer/project manager for over two years. He is a talented programmer that has developed several wordpress plugins and website applications. His most recent contributed work has been the Campaign Monitor Addon for Contact Forms 7.
Since it was released on WordPress.org, I have used this plugin on my client’s websites. I am usually impressed by his work but I was amazed at how easy it was to integrate into my Contact Forms 7 form I had already built. The addon uses the CampaignMonitor API to send the submitted email and name to the Campaign Monitor list of your choice.
Collecting your website’s visitors email is important for marketing to get people back to your site. A contact form is a way for people to sign up to receive more information, or to hear about special offers, or to get your newsletter. Remember to include a privacy policy that you will never sell their email address and they can opt-out at any time. Mention they can receive special offers just by signing up that are not available to others, this can be a great sign up incentive. The Contact Form 7 Addon for Campaign Monitor is a great tool to do this.
