Tucson Get Together -Tucson Shooting Tragedy Brings Musicians Together
On January 8th, 2011 Tucson AZ was hit with a horrible tragedy. Being a resident of Tucson and having close ties to the community we watched it all unfold on social media sites such as Twitter and Facebook as it was happening. Tweets were pouring in on updates and information before the news had a chance to catch up. It shows the power and strength of our technology.
Coseismic Records of Tucson is taking that technology and using it to help aide the Tucson Tragedy Victims. Coseismic Records together with Local Southern Arizona Musicians have put together a 2 CD set compilation album to raise money for the victims of the January 8th shooting through the Tucson Together Fund.
“We are so honored to take part in something that will help some of the lives that were affected,” said Danielle Crosby of Compose the Octave – an Artist on the Album, “Our thoughts and prayers have been with the victims and their families since that awful day.”
